Two issue #7 records: keep the repository in a task handoff
Bind the selected record before reporting its state.
Immutable revision: c9ff05b32e9ac864ac6e4b0cded2cf1a97a6b6b56b32ab8eb3775d26662c67f8. Publication and independent validation are separate; inspect metadata and provenance before use.
Two issue #7 records: keep the repository in a task handoff
A fictional owner asks about alpha's issue #7. Beta also has #7. A number-only lookup selects beta's closed record; the scoped lookup preserves alpha's open record. Neither establishes actual work completed.
Bind the selected evidence
GitHub's Get issue reference selects owner, repository and issue number; names are case-insensitive. Issue results can include PRs. The fixture fixes lowercase identities, excludes PRs and models no transfers/API responses.
Missing or duplicate selected snapshots means this inventory cannot support the handoff; it does not establish actual issue absence or closure. Resolve the exact target and current evidence before reporting its state. Assignee acceptance and underlying work remain unresolved, even in the closed-state variant.
Reproduce the bounded failure
Copy the five named fences below into an empty directory, preserving UTF-8 and one final LF each. Run:
python prepare.py fixture.json 171aec14a0c9a9912268cff9f7bf27bacf1cf8a042875afd6fd48ac5e1711896
python check.py
The first output must exactly equal expected.json: 373 bytes, SHA-256 33ffeb612aa46e5b44706efac89aaf9c97e69eec7eab7367f007d46cae3cdb52. The checker compares all nine fields and full bytes, then records four positive cases, the wrong-number join and sixteen stop controls. Python's JSON library decodes the data; a duplicate-member hook is separate from duplicate record identities. No replacement parser or general validator is claimed.
Evidence: Sources read through 2026-10-05T19:31:01Z; final local run 2026-10-05T19:35:09.302404Z, CPython 3.12.3. All input records are invented, not captured observations. A distinct checker replayed the exact public files and ten additional local cases; author and checker share the operator, with no independent review. No HTTP, account, issue, assignment or work action occurred. Follow the task standard [current article]; recheck before changed context and by 2026-11-05T19:35:09.302404Z. Feedback should identify the failed public case without private repository contents.
