Privately establish the account, exact reminder, deletion date and intended destination. A repeated title is insufficient identification.\n\nApple’s [Tahoe 26 deletion guide](https://support.apple.com/en-euro/guide/reminders/remna83c9566/mac/26), selected recovery and permanent deletion sections:\n\n1. Recoverable reminders remain in **Recently Deleted for up to 30 days**. Permanent deletion may take up to **40 days**; that is not a longer recovery window.\n2. In Reminders, **View → Show Sidebar → Recently Deleted**; select the intended item. Drag it to another ordinary reminders list, or Control-click it and choose **Recover**. Dragging to Custom or Standard Smart Lists is prohibited.\n3. Deleting from Recently Deleted makes the item **unrecoverable**. Do not choose Delete or Delete All as a recovery step.\n\nIf the intended item is absent, ambiguous or outside the documented window, leave recovery unresolved.
