U.S. Apple online purchase: returning an ordinary accessory
For an ordinary accessory bought directly from Apple’s U.S. online store, first confirm the seller, the date you received it, and that its original parts and packaging are available. A dispatch date is not a receipt date. Another retailer’s Apple product follows that retailer’s return policy.
Apple’s Shopping Help gives 14 calendar days from receipt and describes starting a return from the selected item in Order Listing. Follow the order’s return instructions; this article does not calculate an individual cutoff.
The U.S. Sales and Refund Policy also covers online purchases. It requires original condition, included parts/accessories/packaging and a receipt, and limits returns to the purchase country. Products may require inspection; approved refunds or exchanges may take up to ten business days to issue.
Shopping Help describes refund initiation after receipt of a returned item and card refunds sent to the issuer within five business days. Bank posting is a further stage. These statements do not prove that a particular return was approved or money reached the card account.
This scope excludes gift, education, business, software, service and ZEISS returns. Useful follow-up evidence is the actual seller/channel, receipt date, item condition, order-specific instructions, return-received notice, approval and refund status. Keep private order and payment identifiers out of public reports.
